Toast bread with honey

Among the best things available is freshly baked home-baked bread. Toast bread sweetened with honey instead of white sugar. Bread made from pure ingredients where you know exactly what is in it, healthier for the body and the environment.

This recipe makes two loaves.

1 packet of yeast

5 dl of water

1 dl olive oil

2 tablespoons of Swedish honey

1 tablespoon flake salt

about 12 dl organic wheat flour special


Grease the bread pans with:

2 tablespoons of butter

1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Heat water to a lukewarm temperature, around 35-37 degrees.

Crumble yeast in a bowl/kitchen assistant. Add olive oil, honey and salt.

Mix with the water so that the yeast dissolves.

Pour in the wheat flour while stirring. Mix the dough very well until it becomes elastic, about 5 minutes in the kitchen assistant. Longer if mixed by hand.

Leave to rise for 40 minutes under a kitchen towel.

Grease two oblong bread tins with butter and sprinkle sesame seeds in the bottom of the tin.

Knead the dough for half a minute, divide into two parts and place the dough in the bread forms.

Set the oven to 200 degrees hot air.

Leave to rise for 30 minutes under a kitchen towel.

Brush the bread with water before baking.

Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes.

Let the bread cool on a wire rack.

Cut into slices and enjoy a good bread.

Tip, Very suitable for freezing in slices, just take them out and toast them, then there is no risk of the bread lying in front and going bad. It is sustainable consumption not to let bread go bad and be thrown in the garbage.
